Waikato Halberg Tournament Report

Waikato Ladies Halberg held at Riverside (the Lochiel Course) on the 4th November 2016.
The field was down in numbers this year, 23 teams of 4 faced the starters with a 4 Tee start. The course was in great order but the blustery showers made playing conditions rather tricky at times.
Our Senior Vice President—David Howie and Geoff Burgess from Halberg spent all day—in the cooler conditions—with Waikato Life Member Norman, cooking sausages and supplying drinks to the Ladies (a new add on to your C.V.’s gentlemen).

Our main sponsor—Growing Spectrum at Kihikihi—provides plants & shrubs for the prize table, with all players collecting a prize. Plants left over were auctioned off—to bring our net total to just over $3,000.
